Museum is open for individual visitors during the opening hours.
A text guide in different language versions is availabale to borrow at a box office (EN, FR, DE, ES, IT, NL, RU, PL, UA, HU).
It is possible to download an app (software application) – QR codes are on the left hand side of this page.
Except for weekends you can order a guided tour for groups in English or Slovak as a pay service. You can book the guided tour by e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Dogs are welcome to the open air museum, but please put them on a tight leash. Admission is free.
Eating and drinking
During a summer season (May – September) you can enjoy a refreshment in „Krčma u mlynárky“ in the object of the Water Mill – soft drinks, regional drinks, teas and coffees, snack foods, ice lollies etc.
Restaurant „Koliba pod Roháčmi“ in the close vicinity of the museum is opened seasonally.
Due to high fire hazard smoking is not permitted on the complete area of the museum with the exception of a deck of „Krčma u mlynárky“ snack bar.
Taking photos and making films
Taking photos and making films in the museum is permitted for private purposes. Any commercial use is subject to prior consent of the Director of the museum.
A car park is located 150 metres from the museum and is for free.
